They certainly did not lie when they said the Year of the Snake would be a year of shedding... Of releasing... Of watching old skins split and fall away. Of seeing what we once relied upon crumble at our feet.

For many it has been savage in its lessons. Its been stretching and uncomfortable. Transformative in the way that growth often is when it asks us to let go of what felt safe and known.

For me personally it has been a year of alchemy. Not the pretty shimmering kind, that blossoms effortlessly likea rose.…
