About the event
Join Hannah Lily & the Coven community, at the enchanting Woodland, for an soulful voyage of wild witchery, ceremony, song & celebration to mark Novembers Full Moon.
Sisters of the drum...
Women of the woods…
Do you hear the ancient rhythm call your name?
Can you hear the whisper of the woods beckon you home?
Is the aroma of sweet wood fire smoke inviting you to rest, recall & remember?
Come take a journeying of descent through the soma, soil & mycelium
This is a soulful journey of spirit, soil & sisterhood as we gather by the dancing flames under the embrace of ancient trees.
This gathering offers you a sacred pause to linger and walk the old path
To forge connections and weave threads into the loom of community
Reawaken our relationship to ancestral ways, earth & elements
To shed skins and compost our fears into the soil
Through my gentle, welcoming, and loving guidance you will greet a collection of practices that will transport you to a deeper relationship to self, the land, the elements and a supportive Coven community.
The sacred fire will offer us warmth from its dancing flames where it will be the centre piece of our sacred ceremony and community… Over this heart-warming element we will share stories, ceremony, ritual, brew forest foraged tea and nourish our souls.
This gathering warmly invites you to reconnect to the old ways through a deep honouring of nature & by humbly returning you to the rhythm of the land.
In our gathering we will connect to:
Elemental alchemy & Ritual Honouring
Wild infused campfire Tea
Breath, Introspection
Sharing, inner stirrings & Stories
Drumming, Movement & Song
Witnessing, Connection & Release
Grounding Feast – Food Share
Binding together earth craft, offerings, rite, ritual & ceremony to create our sphere to come into unity.
Please note that my sacred weavings hold space for the full spectrum human experience. We will be invited to linger in calm pockets of stillness & softness whilst also compassionately tending to the wilder, raw and primal landscapes that live within. Inviting all to be brought forth without judgements to be seen, held, expressed and witnessed.
Sisters – please wrap up warm and dress appropriately for the season and changeable weather! The gathering will still continue with a light scattering of rain – however in the event of a heavy downpour we will gather inside by the warmth of the yurt.
Please bring with you:
Journal, pen
Warm Layers & Something to sit on
An offering for the fire
An offering of food to share
Please note that all sales are final and tickets are non-refundable. Should you be unable to attend you can transfer the ticket over to a new attendee.
Drumming Contraindications:
Drum circles are not a substitute for medical consultation for physical, mental and psychological illnesses, but it is a powerful natural complementary form of healing as well as a space for social interaction. It is not a therapy group and should not be seen by participants as such.
Like any form of sound work it may not be suitable for everyone as it involves some loud noise and repetitive beats.
Those with Tinnitus and Menieres disease may find that the use of ear plugs helps them join a drum circle without over stimulating the ears.
Those with epilepsy and those otherwise affected by repetitive sound should consider their triggers and make the session leader aware of any needs they may have.
It is particularly contraindicated for those suffering from active schizophrenia, PTSD and other reality perception altering illnesses as repetitive drumming can change the brain waves and induce trance like states.
Those in the early stages of pregnancy or those who have suffered recurrent miscarriage, and are currently pregnant, should take medical advice before joining a drum circle.
Along with the effects of sound the active sharing space may trigger some people with past trauma. It is to be noted that the Sacred Women’s Drum Circle Facilitators do not take on the role of a therapist in the gathering and should not be treated as such. They may need to intervene and invite participants to seek alternative or additional support.
